Big White Public Shuttle – FAQ

  • You can book and reserve your seat online at www.carpediemtours.ca
  • If you have any issues you can call us at 250-864-5113. We recommend booking in advance, as seats fill up quickly during the week.
  • $50 + GST is the cost for a round trip.
  • Discount for UBCO and OC Students – Student ID required and can be asked to be shown by driver day of pick up.
  • How to apply the discount code – when checking out, in the coupon code section type in FIVE and it will apply the discount.  When booking multiple people do a booking for each individual and add them to the cart then checkout and the discount will be applied to each individual booking.
  • The bookings are for a round trip only.  Due to limited seats, we cannot offer pre-bookings for one way travel at this time.  If you are looking for one way trip and do not wish to reserve a full seat you have the option to inquire the night prior or day of if there are seats available for one way travel.  If there are seats available, then we will allow a one-way seat for $30 either through etransfer to info@carpediemtours.ca or cash to the driver.
Our Big White Public Shuttle operates on a fixed route with designated stops in Kelowna and Big White Ski Resort.

  • McDonalds in Glenmore
  • UBCO Bus Exchange parking lot
  • Canco Gas station (Black Mountain)

Once you book your shuttle, we will send you a confirmation email with details on your pickup location and time. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the time indicated for your designated location to ensure a smooth pickup.

The shuttle will only be able to wait a max of 4 min after the scheduled time indicated for your stop.  This means that if you are late, it will be up to you to try and catch the shuttle at the next available stop if any.  No refunds will be issued for missed shuttle pickups.

Yes, cancellations and modifications are allowed up to 48 hours in advance.  After that please contact us and if we have a waiting list and can resell that seat then we will issue a refund, if the seat cannot be resold then no refund will be able to be issued.

We operate in winter conditions, but safety is our priority. If extreme weather causes a delay or cancellation, we will notify you as soon as possible. In the rare event of a cancellation, you will be rebooked on the next available shuttle or offered a refund.

Currently, our shuttles are not wheelchair accessible.
