A little bit more about who we are and maybe why we decided to open Carpe Diem Tours
Sanela; I moved to Canada in 2001 from Montenegro, a small country that was part of the former Yugoslavia! My family and I landed in Edmonton, but I quickly relocated to BC and eventually Kelowna in 2003. I was instantly reminded of home with the mountain views, the pristine water of Lake Okanagan, and the abundant beaches to be found. The Okanagan instantly became part of who I was as a new Canadian and continues to this day to be a deep part of that Identity. Every day on my way to work, or just driving to the store I am reminded by the vistas, amazing weather, and amazing people, of just how lucky am to call Kelowna and the Okanagan my home! I had not been a huge wine lover, however living here it quickly became one of the best things I loved about the Okanagan. Living down the street from Iconic wineries like world renown Mission Hill, Mt Boucherie, Black Swift and so many more, my love for wine sored. It was the social aspect, the ambiance, the sophistication and the wonderful flavours and varieties that one can experience here that drew me in every day. I was blessed to be able to see the wine industry flourish exponentially over the years and needed to be a part of it all.
We believe that Carpe Diem Tours is the best way that we can help others experience what we got to experience that day!
